Ann has combined her interior design degree and enthusiasm for working with people in sales for twenty years. In addition to working as an wokplace advisor at Young Office, she has been a sales rep. for a major manufacturer covering three states. She has worked as a healthcare specialist in a Steelcase dealership in Columbia, SC and as an Interior Designer at an architectural firm. Her experience in the design and contract furniture industry has continued to grow and include the niche markets of business, education and healthcare.
As a Workplace Advisor at Young Office, it is her responsibility to find the best solution for her client’s needs in their project. Her process of relationship building is key to a successful business partnership. Ann’s goal is to satisfy the client’s design and furniture needs by uncovering all aspects required to make the employee’s work place a safe and productive environment. She works with a team of designers, administrative support and project managers to insure that projects are successful from start to finish. Ann says that what drives her is; “I want the employees of a company, students in a classroom, or nurses in a hospital to have the tools they need to be comfortable in their space, to like the place they work and be able to successfully do their job”.

My favorite thing to do when I was a kid was to spend all day at the community pool in the summers swimming and when I was old enough to work as a lifeguard.
My best vacation ever was taking my grown sons to Spain and Italy.
If I could have any superpower, it would definetely be the abilty to read people minds...especially customers!
If people could see my desk they would say I really like colored pens and highlighters.

Where learning takes place can have a big impact on how it happens and the result. Today, learning and teaching styles are collaborative, and technology is everywhere.

In a world where connecting and collaborating is vital to success, the role of the workplace is to connect people with people, information, the tools they need to do their job and with the culture of the organization.

Government agencies have a tough job, balancing a demanding workload with being good stewards of taxpayer dollars. It doesn't matter what branch of the government you work in, it's not easy.
